In an era where dozens of huge studios produce new TV shows all the time, and constantly refine and adjust their schedule of programming, even great shows can be canceled after just one season. However, there are a number of shows that have stood the test of time and continue to this day, seemingly with no real end in sight.
Several of the series listed below have had minor breaks for a couple of years during their run, but every one of them is still releasing new episodes today, with much of the same format, characters, and concepts still present from their earliest releases. From Grey's Anatomy, to The Tonight Show, these shows have been around long enough to have graduated from high school. Some have been on air so long that multiple generations of families have enjoyed the show as it was released more than 50 years apart.
