The Phoenix Suns were the heavy favorites here for a reason. After three quarters it's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Denver Nuggets as Phoenix lead 103-78.

The Suns have been relying on center Deandre Ayton, who has 21 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, and shooting guard Devin Booker, who has 17 points and seven assists in addition to four boards. Those points put Ayton near his season high of 22.

Power forward JaMychal Green has led the way so far for Denver, as he has 14 points and four assists along with seven rebounds.

If the matchup were over at this point, it would be the Nuggets' worst margin of defeat yet this year.

Denver is expected to lose this next one by 7.5. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the squad has let down bettors in their past three games.

The Nuggets are now 9-7 while the Suns sit at 12-3. Phoenix is 10-1 after wins this year, and Denver is 2-4 after losses.
