Through 5 Quarters

After a tough loss on the road their last time out, the Nevada Wolf Pack look much better today on their home turf. It's anybody's game after five quarters, but Nevada is ahead of the Air Force Falcons 37-31.

The Wolf Pack have been riding high on the performance of WR Romeo Doubs, who has caught ten passes for one TD and 140 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Doubs' 61-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter. The squad has gotten extra help from defensive menace DE Sam Hammond and his 11 tackles.

Air Force has been led by WR DeAndre Hughes, who so far has rushed for two TDs and 207 yards on 21 carries.

What to Know

The Air Force Falcons and the Nevada Wolf Pack will face off in a Mountain West clash at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 19 at Clarence Mackay Stadium. The Falcons will be strutting in after a victory while Nevada will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Air Force was able to grind out a solid win over the Colorado State Rams last week, winning 35-21. It was another big night for Air Force's RB Brad Roberts, who rushed for two TDs and 151 yards on 32 carries.

Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Nevada as they fell 23-21 to the San Diego State Aztecs last week. The losing side was boosted by WR Romeo Doubs, who caught nine passes for two TDs and 127 yards. Carson Strong's 54-yard touchdown toss to Doubs in the fourth quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the night.

This next game is expected to be close, with Air Force going off at just a 1.5-point favorite. The odds have been favorable for them against the spread on the road this season, even if it's been tough sledding overall. They are 3-0 ATS in away games but only 5-4 all in all.

The Falcons' win brought them up to 7-3 while the Wolf Pack's loss pulled them down to an identical 7-3. Two offensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Air Force is 240th worst in the nation in passing yards per game, with only 96.7 on average. Nevada has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the matchup with the 235th fewest rushing yards per game in the nation, having accrued only 64.1 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
