BIG FLOWER FIGHT Stream on Netflix. The title says it all. In this new series, 10 pairs of amateur floral designers fight it out to see who can come up with the most beautiful and behemoth botanical sculptures. As in similar shows, the contestants receive challenges that test their skills, ingenuity and ability to work under pressure. Winners are awarded the “best in bloom” honor while losers are plucked away like weeds. The creations — which need to combine architectural integrity, horticultural acumen and visual appeal — are judged by Kristen Griffith-VanderYacht, a floral designer to the stars, and guest experts. The comedian Vic Reeves and the actress Natasia Demetriou host the proceedings.
DEAD STILL Stream on Acorn TV. It may seem morbid to us, especially with the coronavirus pandemic still raging, but during the Victorian period, post-mortem photography was a popular way to commemorate the dead. This new original series follows Brock Blennerhasset (Michael Smiley) and his assistant, Conall Molloy (Kerr Logan), two photographers who specialize in taking portraits of the deceased for their families. Their work brings them into contact with Frederick Regan (Aidan O’Hare), a detective investigating a series of murders. The killer behind these crimes photographs the victims. Regan hopes that Blennerhasset and his protégé will lend their expertise to his investigation.
GOODNIGHT MOMMY (2014) Stream on Shudder, Tubi, Vudu and YouTube. Rent on Amazon, Google Play and iTunes. This horror movie takes a common childhood experience, feeling disoriented by a parent’s sudden change in appearance, and expands it into a disturbing psychological parable about identity and loss. When their mother returns home after surgery with her head bandaged, Elias and Lukas (played by Elias and Lukas Schwarz), who are twins, notice that her behavior has changed. She insists on silence in the house and treats Elias harshly. She also refuses to acknowledge Lukas. The siblings come to believe that the bandaged woman might not actually be their mother but an impostor. When their escape attempt fails, the boys decide to force her to answer their questions. Of the movie, Jeannette Catsoulis wrote, “Even those who have guessed its final twist (because we have seen it before) will immediately want to watch again, if only to check the logic of its shifting points of view.”

THE BACHELOR PRESENTS: LISTEN TO YOUR HEART 8 p.m. on ABC. Some contestants on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” have been accused of joining the shows to further their show-business careers rather than to find love. But in this spinoff series, professional aspiration and romantic desire are purposefully blended. The participants are musicians looking to develop chemistry with each other onstage and off. Of course, there’s no guarantee that creative collaboration will necessarily lead to amorous connection or vice versa. After five weeks of competition, only three couples remain. The finale installment will take place in Nashville, the capital city of American country music. There are two questions left to be answered: What pair will win? And which relationships will endure?
