This week, Steve Harvey is back with new episodes of "Celebrity Family Feud" on ABC, country music stars reunite from home (again) on CMT and it's the season finale for “Legends of Tomorrow” on CW.

Sunday, May 31

“Celebrity Family Feud” season-opener

8 p.m., ABC. This is game-show night. After reruns last week, ABC starts the new “Feud” season (Steve Harvey hosts the old and new casts of “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy”) at 8 p.m., “Press Your Luck” at 9 and “Match Game” at 10. But at 10:02 p.m. (rerunning at 12:05 a.m.), you’ll want to switch to “Quiz” on AMC. A three-hour mini-series spread over three Sundays, it brilliantly mixes humor and drama, describing the creation of – and cheating accusations about – “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”

Monday, June 1

“The Baker and the Beauty” finale

9 and 10 p.m., ABC. Beautifully filmed (in Atlanta and then Puerto Rico), this has flipped the tale of Cinderellas and a prince. Daniel is a decent chap, working in his family’s bakery; Noa is a pop-culture star, near the Kardashian stratosphere. They met by accident, stirring a gossip flurry. Tonight finds them reconnecting after a falling-out, with Daniel wanting a normal life. His sister hopes her quinceanera can mend their parents’ rift. The second hour has turning points for the parents and for Daniel and Noa.

Tuesday, June 2

“Legends of Tomorrow” season finale

9 p.m., CW. These time-trekkers are no longer in control, as “the Fates” fling then into new worlds. Now they’re in a place like the novel “1984”; they must convince people to trust them and to stand up for their rights. The show will be back sometime in 2021, but its companion (“Stargirl,” at 8 p.m.) continues through the summer. Last week, a battle put Brainwave in a coma. In this week’s well-crafted (but very somber) episode, Courtney’s step-dad (Luke Wilson) tries to get her to quit being Stargirl.

Wednesday, June 3

“CMT Celebrates Our Heroes”

8 p.m., CMT. Country stars were the first to switch to this at-home phase. When their awards show was postponed, they filled a special with music from homes, porches, barns and beyond. Now they do it again, adding tributes to essential workers. The line-up has top stars – Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Kelsea Ballerini, Sam Hunt, Kristen Bell, Lauren Daigle, Brandi Carlisle – and groups: Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne and Florida Georgia Line.

More: Miranda Lambert's new marriage won't get rid of that chip on her shoulder

Thursday, June 4

“Young Sheldon”

8 p.m., CBS. We jump back to the season-opener, which shows “Young Sheldon” can be subtly serious at times. The previous season ended with Dr. Sturgis having a nervous breakdown; now Mary worries that her son Sheldon – also strong of mind and fragile otherwise – might have that trouble someday. Stick around at 8:30 for “Man With a Plan,” which is a week away from its series finale. Adam (Matt LeBlanc) tries to get his daughter ready for her driving test; also, his brother needs advice on romance.

Friday, June 5

“A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” (2019)

8 p.m., Starz. In difficult times, we need Fred Rogers – or a movie about him. Tom Hanks steps easily into the good-guy role, based on one cynical reporter’s reluctant friendship with Rogers. The result is neatly suited to the small screen. So is “The Nice Guys” (2016), a clever film with Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe as private eyes who get in too deep; it’s at 8 p.m. on HBO. By comparison, “Avatar” (2009, FX) is stunning on a big screen, but merely pretty good on TV; it’s 7 and 10:30 p.m. on FX.

Saturday, June 6

“D-Day: The Sixth of June” (1956)

6 p.m., Turner Classic Movies. On the sixth of June, we can watch a movie about the day – 76 years earlier – when men rushed into gunfire, changing the world. That’s entwined with a story of two officers (one British, one American) in love with the same woman. At 8 p.m., two true stories use war as a backdrop. TCM has the epic “Lawrence of Arabia: (1962); AMC has Bradley Cooper in the subtly moving “American Sniper” (2014).
