SUNDAY

● Set on Cape Cod, “Hightown” is an eight-part drama series that follows a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent (Monica Raymund) who has her life thrown into disarray when she discovers a body on the beach — another casualty of the region’s opioid epidemic. The ensuing trauma pushes Jackie to take the first steps toward sobriety until she becomes convinced that it’s up to her to solve the murder. (8 p.m., Starz).

● Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly lead the cast of “Snowpiercer,” a postapocalyptic sci-fi saga inspired by the film directed by Oscar-winner Bong Joon Ho (“Parasite”). Set after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the series focuses on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1,001 cars, that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out along the way. (9 p.m., TNT).

● Pop superstar Taylor Swift delivers hit after hit for the “Taylor Swift City of Lover Concert” concert special, which was filmed in September at L’Olympia Theatre in Paris. Swift performs songs from her award-winning album “Lover” in front of an intimate crowd of fans from 37 countries. The musical event, airing right after the “American Idol” finale, gives fans unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes moments with the artist and will be their only chance to see Swift in concert this year. Her Lover Fest tour was canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. (10 p.m., ABC).

MONDAY

When Joe Biden, now running for president, swore in Clarence Thomas to begin what became an epic confirmation hearing, no one knew what was coming. The new documentary “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas In His Own Words” traces the life story of the Supreme Court justice and provides some insight into one of the nation’s most enigmatic public figures. (9 p.m., PBS).

TUESDAY

● Can you handle another superhero series? “DC’s Stargirl” follows Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a high school sophomore who inspires an unlikely group of young peers to stop the villains of the past. (8 p.m., the CW).

● “The Genetic Detective” is a new series that follows real-life investigative genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and her team as they work with police departments and accessible crime scene DNA to help trace the path of criminal suspects’ family trees, uncover their identity and bring them to justice. First up: the 1987 murders of a young couple found miles apart. (10 p.m., ABC).

WEDNESDAY

“Ultimate Tag” is a turbo-charged new competition game show. Contestants must vault, dodge, tumble and dive their way through epic, three-dimensional courses — all while being chased by super-buff and athletic opponents. (9 p.m., Fox).

THURSDAY

The sixth annual “Red Nose Day Special” brings a vast array of celebrities together to raise awareness of, and funds for, children who are living in poverty. Performers include Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, OneRepublic, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, James Taylor, Meghan Trainor and more. (9 p.m., NBC).

FRIDAY

Julia Roberts isn’t back for season two of “Homecoming,” but the stylish thriller returns with a fresh mystery and a new star in Janelle Monae. She plays a military veteran who wakes up in a rowboat adrift on a lake, with no memory of how she got there — or even who she is. Creepy twists ensue. (Amazon Prime).

SATURDAY

Feeling a little nostalgic for our old pals Buzz and Woody? The first three chapters of Pixar’s beloved “Toy Story” franchise will take you to infinity and beyond as they play out in back-to-back-to-back fashion. (4:55 p.m.. Freeform).
