If you don't have cable or subscribe to streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+, finding good television to watch might be a challenge. Fortunately, one streaming service wants to offer you a chance to enjoy its services, free of charge, for a couple hours each night. The best part is, you don't even have to give out your credit card information.

Sling is currently offering a "happy hour" promotion everyday from 5 p.m. to midnight. While beverages will not be included, unlimited live streaming access during this seven hour period will be. Now, to qualify for this pretty generous deal, you must be new to Sling. If you are, you can head here, where you'll be asked to make an account. Don’t worry, you'll only be required to input your email address, zip code, as well as create a password—I even joined myself to confirm.

If you're unfamiliar with Sling, it's a service created by DISH network that allows users to watch live TV without a cable subscription. Users can just head to sling.com or download the Sling app to their device in order to tune into popular networks like AMC, TLC, FX, TBS, Comedy Central, USA, HGTV, Hallmark Channel, GSN, Travel Channel, Food Network, Discovery Channel, local news channels, and more. Not sure what to watch? There's also a TV guide which will help you see what is airing. For an additional fee, there are on-demand options and movie rentals.

The happy hour promotion is part of the company's "Stay in & SLING" initiative, which aims to keep Americans safe, but also entertained, at home. "Since we can't serve you a beverage or basket of hot wings, we're introducing a new kind of happy hour – TV 'on the house' every night," Warren Schlichting, group president, SLING TV, said in a statement. "Much like a real happy hour, TV is often a shared experience. So grab your favorite refreshment, tune in with your friends and family, and get those group chats ready.”
