GOOD BOYS (2019) 8 p.m. on HBO; stream on HBO platforms. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the producers behind comedies like “Superbad,” “Sausage Party” and “This Is the End,” lend their irreverent, slapstick brand to this R-rated comedy. When sixth grader Max (Jacob Tremblay) gets invited to a party where he may run into his crush, he sets out on learning how to kiss with the help of his best friends, Lucas (Keith L. Williams) and Thor (Brady Noon). The trouble starts when they spy on the teenage girls next door with Max’s father’s drone. What follows is one misadventure after another, involving drugs, sex toys, frat boys and a whole lot of cursing. “Good Boys” opened to generally positive reviews last summer. Most critics praised the young leads but said the movie relied too heavily on crass humor — which may not sit well with those who think foul-mouthed children can only be so funny.
FRANKIE DRAKE MYSTERIES 7 p.m. on Ovation. Fans of the Australian series “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries,” about a stylish sleuth in 1920s Melbourne, will want to give this Canadian show a try. It follows Frankie Drake (Lauren Lee Smith), the (fictional) first female detective in Toronto, who owns her own agency and takes on cases often overlooked by the police. She cracks mysteries with the help of her friend and partner (Chantel Riley), a morality officer (Rebecca Liddiard) and a pathologist at the city’s morgue (Sharron Matthews). In this third season premiere, Frankie visits Britain and investigates the disappearance and poisoning of an old friend, with help from none other than Agatha Christie.

MONEY HEIST Stream on Netflix. This Spanish crime drama is one of the most watched non-English language shows on Netflix. (Stephen King is a fan.) The series centers on eight robbers who, led by a mastermind called the Professor (Álvaro Morte), carry out elaborate heists worth billions of euros. Part 3 ended with a cliffhanger: As the robbers went after the Bank of Spain, Nairobi (Alba Flores) — the characters’ code names are international cities — took a shot to the chest and the police captured Lisbon (Itziar Ituño). Part 4, out this weekend, picks up right where the show left off, promising edge-of-your-seat thrills.
TALES FROM THE LOOP Stream on Amazon. The Swedish artist Simon Stalenhag’s retro-futuristic work, which juxtaposes rural landscapes with enormous robots and machines, has been adapted into an art book and a role-playing game. Now it’s getting the television treatment. This new sci-fi series trades the Swedish countryside for a small Ohio town, home to an underground facility for experimental physics and the Loop, a machine that offers a window into the mysteries of the universe. The eight episodes feature Rebecca Hall, Paul Schneider and Daniel Zolghadri, and follow the lives of the town’s residents, slowly uncovering how they’re interconnected with the Loop. The show is an anthology, but it’s best to watch in chronological order.
