These films might not have even been remotely near your radar...

Over the past two weeks, you may have seen the below trailer for Scott Mann's Fall, an upcoming horror film about two people trapped atop a 2,000 foot pole in the desert.

While you may be wondering, "Why did they need to climb a 2,000 foot tower in the desert" or "How did *this* get made?," Fall appears to be in good company in the WTF Movie Hall of Fame. In fact, the aforementioned teaser inspired me to look into a number of equally bonkers movies that you may have not only missed, but might not even know existed in the first place. So, without further ado, here's 20 flabbergasting flicks that, believe it or not, you can check out right now.

1. Deerskin (2019)

Greenwich Entertainment / Courtesy Everett Collection

Academy Award-winning actor Jean Dujardin stars in Rubber filmmaker Quentin Dupieux's 2019 dark comedy as a broke middle-aged man whose recently purchased a deerskin motorcycle jacket that begins speaking to him, demanding that it become the only jacket in the world by any means necessary.

Where to watch: Deerskin is currently streaming on Cinemax.

2. I Declare War (2012)

Drafthouse Films / Courtesy Everett Collection

Though this Canadian action-comedy was created with the best intentions, it may be fairly obvious why this film, which follows a group of kids who play "Capture the Flag" in the woods and imagine their weapons as frighteningly real tools of war, has become a tough sell to audiences in the wake of IRL tragedies.

Where to watch: I Declare War is currently streaming on Tubi, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and the Roku Channel.

3. Twixt (2011)

Courtesy Everett Collection / 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

Vampires, ritualistic murder, the ghost of Edgar Allan Poe, and a fictional facsimile of a shocking real life tragedy all somehow factor into Francis Ford Coppola's little-seen Gothic horror film starring Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Alden Ehrenreich, and Elle Fanning.

Where to watch: Twixt is currently available to rent on select Video-on-Demand platforms.

4. Replicas (2018)

Francisco Collazo / Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures / Courtesy Everett Collection

Known best for having the worst wide release opening for the entire career of star Keanu Reeves, this totally unhinged sci-fi flick surrounds a neuroscientist who steals his clearly-evil company's cloning machines so he can create a new version of his recently deceased family.

Where to watch: Replicas is currently streaming on Netflix.

5. Love & Air Sex (2013)

Tribeca Film / Courtesy Everett Collection

Sara Paxton, Zach Cregger, Ashley Bell, and Addison Timlin all star in this overlooked oddball romantic comedy about two couples facing their respective issues against the backdrop of the Air Sex World Championships, a competition that's like karaoke but for sex acts.

Where to watch: Love & Air Sex is currently streaming on Peacock, Vudu, and Plex.

6. Nurse 3D (2013)

Lions Gate / Courtesy Everett Collection

Folks, this absolute disaster of an erotic horror-thriller that attempted to jump into the 3D film trend has to be seen to be believed, with a Rocky Horror-worthy performance from Paz de la Huerta as a murderous, sex-crazed nurse. Oddly enough, the stories behind the scenes are almost as chaotic as the on-screen action, including de la Huerta being struck by an ambulance during filming and the actress having her bawdy voiceover completely replaced with a noticeably different soundalike (which, incidentally, sparked an unsuccessful $55 million lawsuit).

Where to watch: Nurse 3D is currently available to rent on all Video-on-Demand platforms.

7. Lowlife (2017)

A far sleazier and more vicious spin on Pulp Fiction-esque crime thrillers, this strange yet occasionally (and morbidly) humorous film follows the intersecting fates of a murderous luchador, a foolish ex-con, and a desperate recovering drug addict after an organ harvesting scheme goes awry.

Where to watch: Lowlife is currently streaming on AMC+.

8. Men & Chicken (2015)

Drafthouse Films / Courtesy Everett Collection

Rogue One and Doctor Strange star Mads Mikkelsen gets real weird in this Dutch comedy about five socially maladjusted brothers who discover the extraordinarily unusual circumstances behind their birth after learning that their biological father was a mad geneticist.

Where to watch: Men & Chicken is currently available to stream on the Roku Channel, Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu.

9. The Cleanse (2016)

Vertical Entertainment / Courtesy Everett Collection

Johnny Galecki, Anna Friel, Anjelica Huston, and Oliver Platt round out this off-beat dramedy in which people attend a self-help retreat where they can manifest their emotional pain and negative energy into living, breathing creatures.

Where to watch: The Cleanse is currently available to rent on all Video-on-Demand platforms.

10. Jiminy Glick in Lalawood (2004)

Gold Circle Films / Alamy

I don't know who was exactly demanding a movie about Martin Short's over-the-top and intentionally irritating "Jiminy Glick" character, especially one that ties into Golden Age murder mysteries and includes a fictional version of indie film legend David Lynch (also played by Short), but it certainly exists.

Where to watch: Jiminy Glick in Lalawood is currently streaming on Tubi.

11. The Scribbler (2014)

Caliber Media Company / New Artists Alliance / XLrator Media / Alamy

Based on Daniel Schaffer's graphic novel, this ensemble whodunnit starring Arrow's Katie Cassidy surrounds a woman suffering from dissociative identity disorder who must discover the truth behind a string of apparent suicides at her new halfway house, aided by a super-powered being that communicates with her via backwards messaging.

Where to watch: The Scribbler is currently available to rent on select Video-on-Demand platforms.

12. Big Game (2014)

EuropaCorp USA / Courtesy Everett Collection

Samuel L. Jackson stars as the President of the United States who must team up with a young boy to escape terrorists planning on hunting down the Commander-in-Chief after Air Force One is shot down over the Finnish wilderness in this underseen yet surprisingly sprawling action throwback.

Where to watch: Big Game is currently streaming on HBO Max.

13. Tone-Deaf (2019)

Saban Films / Courtesy Everett Collection

Richard Bates Jr.'s surreal and surprisingly brutal horror comedy follows Silicon Valley's Amanda Crew as a down-on-her-luck millennial pianist who rents a remote Airbnb from a widower (Robert Patrick), whose extreme conservative views bleed into murderous tendencies due to his undiagnosed dementia.

Where to watch: Tone-Deaf is currently available to rent on all Video-on-Demand platforms.

14. Criminal (2016)

Lions Gate / Courtesy Everett Collection

Despite having an all-star cast featuring Kevin Costner, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, Gary Oldman, and Tommy Lee Jones, this high-concept thriller was a massive flop on both critical and commercial levels.

Where to watch: Criminal is currently streaming on Vudu.

15. The Fanatic (2019)

Quiver Distribution / Courtesy Everett Collection

In an unbelievably goofy thriller directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, The Fanatic stars John Travolta (?!) as an autistic film buff whose obsession with his favorite actor (Devon Sawa) turns deadly serious.

Where to watch: The Fanatic is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

16. Roar (1981/2015)

American Filmworks / Album / Alamy

Restored and released for the first time in the US by Drafthouse Films in 2015, Roar's cult following is largely born from its reputation as "the most dangerous film ever made," as there were nearly 50 injuries from the cast and crew during the production of this comedy about a family (Director Noel Marshall and his real-life family, including Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith) that moves to a Tanzanian nature preserve overridden by giant jungle cats.

Where to watch: Roar is currently available on DVD/Blu-ray, and will be available to stream on Alamo on Demand in the near future.

17. Porno (2019)

Cinestate / FANGORIA Films / Shudder / Via youtube.com

A group of young employees at a small-town movie theater in a religious town discover a hidden old porno movie that is cursed by an ancient, bloodthirsty demon in this horror-comedy that itself was seemingly buried after its production company and brand separated shortly before its streaming release.

Where to watch: Porno is currently available to rent on all Video-on-Demand platform.

18. Gun Woman (2014)

View this video on YouTube

Maxam / Scream Factory / Via youtube.com

Directed by exploitation specialist Kurando Mitsutake, this off-the-walls revenge film follows a doctor who trains a young woman (cult favorite Asami Sugiura) to be the perfect assassin for a mission in which she must assemble and utilize gun parts that are implanted inside of her body.

What to watch: Gun Woman is currently streaming on Tubi, the Roku Channel, and Amazon Prime Video.

19. An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn (2018)

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment /Courtesy Everett Collection

From the mind of The Greasy Strangler director Jim Hosking, this exceptionally strange comedy, which follows an unhappily married woman who is drawn to an eccentric, nearly silent figure from her mysterious past, sports an astounding cast (including Aubrey Plaza, Emile Hirsch, Jemaine Clement, Matt Berry, Craig Robinson, and Zach Cherry) and offers up easily the most peculiar work of their career.

Where to watch: An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn is currently streaming on Netflix.
