Tyron Woodley looks to put an end to the hype train known as Jake Paul on Sunday night inside the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The two fighters are set to throw down in the main event of a Showtime Boxing PPV event featuring four other undercard bouts. The two will meet at a contracted weight of 190 pounds.
Paul, the YouTube influencer-turned boxer, is looking to remain perfect in his professional carer against his most dangerous opponent yet. Woodley is a former UFC champion and one of the best welterweights in mixed martial arts history. Woodley is also a far more accomplished striker than Paul's previous opponent, Ben Askren, another UFC veteran.
"It's going to be another show on Sunday. I'm putting on another masterful performance and a boxing clinic. This guy is going to sleep and getting turned into another meme. Just like his friend Ben Askren," Paul said. "After Sunday, nobody is ever going to talk about Woodley ever again. He's a speed bump on the road of my career."
Woodley, who is making his debut in boxing, enlisted the help of renowned Cuban trainer Pedro Diaz as well as all-time great Floyd Mayweather to prepare for this showdown.

This card also features some fun undercard bouts, including Amanda Serrano looking to defend her trio of titles against Yamileth Mercado at women's featherweight. Serrano will be looking to tie the all-time record for knockouts by a woman, held by Christy Martin at 31. Plus, heavyweight Daniel Dubois makes his U.S. debut against Joe Cusumano, and the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury, makes his U.S. PPV debut when he takes on Anthony Taylor. Fury, a star of British reality TV, could be a future opponent for Paul if both continue to pick up wins.
