The Portland Timbers are still searching for a bounce-back win after one of the worst losses in team history followed by squandering a late lead in a disappointing draw. But tonight the Timbers get their best chance yet at earning some much-needed points on this road trip when Portland visits Austin FC tonight at Q2 Stadium. This match kicks off at on Saturday, August 21, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET with a live broadcast on FOX 12 Plus.

55th minute: Timbers looking slightly better and get a nice goal from Asprilla to pull one back, but it’s going to take a lot more for this team to claw back a result from this horrendous early start.
29th minute: Things are going from bad to even worse for Portland. Sebastián Driussi knocks in another goal for Austin to push their lead to 3-0 over Portland and it’s not even halftime yet.
14th minute: Just minutes after allowing a penalty, the Timbers let Diego Fagundez get in behind the defense for another Austin FC goal on a wicked header.
11th minute: The Timbers pick up right where they left off in poor defensive performance and give up a penalty to Austin FC. Dominguez slots it away and Austin FC lead 1-0 over Portland here early.
