“MacGyver” (8 p.m., CBS): Break out the tissues, “MacGyver” fans. The show ends its five-year run tonight with a series finale titled “Abduction + Memory + Time + Fireworks + Dispersal.” When Mac and Riley go missing and wake up 24 hours later in a corn field with no memory of how they got there, they must unravel the mystery to find who took them, and how to get rid of the nanotrackers in their bodies, no matter the cost,.

“Dateline NBC” (9 p.m., NBC): Wyn Reed is an Oregon actress cast as a killer in “From the Dark,” a small-budget horror film. When filming wraps, a real-life plot twist reveals Wyn’s real name is Tucker — and she has been charged with killing her uncle. Both the filmmakers and the detectives find themselves wondering where the performance ends and reality begins. Featuring interviews with Tucker’s dad Daniel Reed, Detectives Gabe Burchfiel and Tony Young, “From the Dark” creators Matthew Spickard and Tiffany Spickard, and more.

“Blue Bloods” (10 p.m., CBS): Jamie faces official reprimand from Frank when he refuses to explain why he contests the arrest report of a fellow officer assaulted in the field, a rising rookie with allies in City Hall. Also, Danny and Baez clash when their lead suspect for the murder of a legendary comedy club owner is one of Danny’s favorite standup comedians, and Eddie balks after she agrees to an undercover assignment for Anthony then learns his informant is Don Voorhees (James Le Gros), a former corrupt parole officer she and Jamie arrested.

“The Mosquito Coast” (Apple TV+): Brace yourself for this gripping seven-episode adventure. Adapted from the bestselling novel by Paul Theroux, it follows the dangerous journey of Allie Fox (Justin Theroux), a radical idealist and brilliant inventor who uproots his family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the U.S. government. The cast also includes Melissa George, Logan Polish and Gabriel Bateman.

“The Oprah Conversation” (Apple TV+): Elliot Page joins Oprah for his first on-camera conversation since disclosing that he is transgender

“Pet Stars” (Netflix): This offbeat unscripted series follows talent management agency Pets on Q as they work with the biggest animal influencers on social media. These two women represent some of Hollywood’s cutest, most well-known animal clients. First stop: Petaluma, Calif., home to the World’s Ugliest Dog contest.
