NFL Week 14 coverage map: TV schedule for CBS, Fox regional broadcasts - Sporting News

maleomales.blogspot.com

This is, officially, the last week of bye weeks during the 2021 NFL season. It's also the latest bye in NFL history — Week 14 — because of the team's new, 17-game, 18-week schedule. So, we're getting another typical, bye-week slate and that means we'll have 11 games air on Sunday afternoon.

The 11-game slate looks like a decent one, as there are some high-end matchups between contenders that could help decide the Wild Card races. Viewers will have plenty of potential options from which to choose, but only some of the games will be broadcast regionally.

CBS will have more games available than Fox for the second consecutive week. They will receive broadcast rights to six of the 11 games on Sunday. Their main draws feature a triage of playoff teams looking to improve their playoff standing. The Chiefs-Raiders game will garner most of the country's attention in the earlier window. In the 4:25 p.m. ET game, it will be the Bills squaring off against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers as Buffalo looks to bounce back from an embarrassing loss.

Meanwhile, Fox's coverage will be hyper-regionalized. The network's biggest draw among its five games is the Washington vs. Cowboys game in the 1 p.m. time slot. Most of the country will see that, but there are some big, chunks and regions of the country that will have to watch other games in action.

Below are the full NFL coverage maps for Week 14, plus a list of major TV markets and the CBS and Fox games that will be presented in each on Sunday.

TV schedule for NFL Week 14 games

Below are the Sunday afternoon games that will be broadcast regionally. "Sunday Night Football" will feature the Bears and Packers in the longest-running rivalry game in the NFL. That game could decide if the Packers will clinch the NFC North outright or whether they'll have to wait another week to do so.

"Monday Night Football" will feature the marquee battle of the week. The Rams will be traveling to Arizona to take on the Cardinals as the Cardinals look to, effectively, wrap up the NFC West. They have a two-game lead on the Rams in the division and can take a three-game lead and the tiebreaker with four games left in the season. That would be ideal for Kyler Murray's side, as they could then focus on earning the No. 1 overall seed the rest of the 2021 NFL season.
