The Dodgers broke through in the ninth inning of their National League Division Series Game 5 matchup against the top-seeded Giants and advanced to their fourth NLCS in the past five years. They will face off with the Braves for the second year in a row.

Los Angeles is not the only wild-card team to make it to this round. The Red Sox defeated the top-seeded Rays in four games in the American League Division Series to set up a rematch of the 2018 ALCS with the Astros. Houston will be making its fourth ALCS trip in the past five years as well.
