Halloween is just a few days away! And what’s Halloween without a good movie to get you in the spirit?

Here’s a top 10 list of Halloween movies (in no particular order) I recommend you watch before Saturday.

The list will include where you can find the movie (and no spoilers).

All movies on this list are accessible through streaming services.

#10. Hocus Pocus

• This obviously had to make the list. You can stream this ’90s family-friendly classic on Disney+.

#9. The Addams Family (1991)

• Another ’90s classic! You can stream it on Netflix.

#8. The Nightmare Before Christmas

• Whether you believe it’s a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie (why not both?), it’s got more than enough Halloween goodness for this list. You can stream it on Disney+.

#7. Ghostbusters

• If you’re willing to spend a couple of bucks on a rental, this movie is an ’80s classic. You can stream it on Amazon.

#6. Halloweentown

• I know, this movie is a little cheesy. But this movie is too nostalgic not to put on the list. You can stream it on Disney+.

#5. Insidious

• Here’s a little something if you’re looking for a real scream. I recommend you watch with a friend. For a couple of bucks you can stream it on Amazon.

#4. The Exorcist

• Not for the faint of heart, but quite the classic scary tale. You may have to sleep with a nightlight on afterward. You can rent it on Amazon.

#3. Scream (1996)

• A good blend of comedy and creepy! You can stream it on Hulu.

#2. Beetlejuice

• This movie will have you walking away wondering, “what did I just watch?” But it’s also a classic. You can rent it on Amazon.
  • For extra Beetlejuice camp, you can listen to the Broadway musical soundtrack on Spotify or another music streaming service.

• I had to end the list with one of my favorite scary movies. You can rent it on Amazon.

I do not advocate watching this entire list before Saturday… sleep is important.
