Justin Sutherland, the owner of Handsome Hog and familiar face to Top Chef fans will once again be on TV cooking. Sutherland is a part of the cast of Fast Foodies, a new cooking competition series that just got picked up by truTV for 10 episodes. Sutherland, along with Top Chef winners Kristen Kish and Jeremy Ford will attempt to recreate a celebrity’s favorite fast food.
According to Deadline, the celebrities scheduled to appear include Joel McHale, James Van Der Beek, Andy Richter, and Amanda Seales. The show aims to be relatable and hilarious, something Sutherland is particularly suited for. While appearing on and winning Iron Chef, and competition on Top Chef Season 16.
Sutherland is the head of the Madison restaurant group that operates Handsome Hog. He has also lately been working with Brian and Sarah Ingram as the culinary director for the newly opened Woodfire Cantina on West 7th and The Gnome on Selby, all in St. Paul.
