Does anyone want my TV? I haven’t turned it on in months.
I used to be a huge sports fan. But, I refuse to be preached to and chastised by rich, spoiled athletes who live in luxurious communities with their own private security and want to defund the police and put my family at risk in today’s volatile society.
All news channels have an agenda so slanted that it can only pass for gossip and incitement of riots.
And, once upon a time, I could watch a movie for pure entertainment value and feel good at the end. I could watch comedy and actual comedians could make me laugh nightly (Carol Burnett, Jackie Gleason, Rodney Dangerfield, Redd Fox).
But, today, every movie, supposed comedian, and talk show host has a political agenda which is neither entertainment nor comedy. So, as Rodney Dangerfield used to say, “take my wife, please'' — take my TV, please.
