On Friday, KSAT's Steven Cavazos announced he is leaving the station in December.
Cavazos, a traffic anchor who has worked "in almost every role a news department can offer," will depart the station with a final on-air day of Dec. 6. Cavazos did not write what is next for him, but he did note that he will be stepping away from the TV news industry.
"I wanted to share with you that this will be my last full month with KSAT, and after much prayer, I've decided to step away from TV news," Cavazos wrote in a Facebook post. "For the last year, I contemplated my future within the news industry. I wondered 'what more could I do' and realized, I have done everything I wanted to.

"My heart is full and it's time to move on," Cavazos wrote.
Cavazos is not alone in departing from the station. On Sunday, Jonathan Cotto, a reporter for "Good Morning San Antonio," also announced his exit.
"Unfortunately, tomorrow marks my official last day at KSAT, and I wanted to let you know that you can catch my final report on the 6 o'clock newscast," Cotto wrote in his own Facebook post. "It's a bittersweet moment for me, but I'm excited for the new adventures that lie ahead."
Cotto also did not announce what's next, and did not say whether he's staying in the news industry.
