NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 announced the conference schedule for its men's basketball programs on Thursday, in addition to television selections for the upcoming season. La Salle will play on national television a total of five times, including a non-conference showdown at The Palestra on Sunday, Nov. 28 with Villanova that will air on one of ESPN's networks.

Overall, the Atlantic 10 men's basketball schedule will feature 76 nationally televised and digitally produced games on the league's three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports. Through its robust media agreements and all-encompassing streaming agreement with ESPN+, every home game for all 14 league members will be available on TV or digitally.

The Explorers will open their A-10 schedule on the penultimate day of 2021 when the Fordham Rams come to Tom Gola Arena. The matchup will feature fourth-year head coach Ashley Howard going up against Fordham's first-year coach Kyle Neptune, who coached aside Howard at Villanova from 2013-18.

After the start of the New Year, La Salle treks to Rhode Island (Jan. 2) and Saint Louis (Jan. 5) before returning home for back-to-back home contests against two of the preseason favorites to win the A-10. VCU comes to Gola Arena on Saturday, Jan. 8 for a nationally televised game, before the reigning league champion St. Bonaventure visits Philadelphia three days later.

The annual Martin Luther King Day game against Saint Joseph's will air live on CBS Sports Network from Hagan Arena on Jan. 17, before two more home games dot the schedule against Richmond (Jan. 22) and UMass (Jan. 26). The contest against the Spiders will be shown on NBC Universal Platforms with streaming coverage on the NBC Sports App, as will La Salle's game at Davidson on Saturday, Jan. 29.

From there, home games will follow against George Mason (Feb. 5), Saint Louis (Feb. 8), Dayton (Feb. 26), and St. Joe's (March 2). The Explorers will hit the road for matchups with George Washington (Feb. 2), Richmond (Feb. 12), UMass (Feb. 19), Fordham (Feb. 23), and the final regular-season game of the year at Duquesne on March 5.

For the 13th straight year, the Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship final will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network and will also stream live on Paramount+ as a part of the network's overall Selection Sunday coverage. In total, 11 games of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., will be nationally broadcast with the opening round games on March 9 streaming live on ESPN+. NBC Sports will carry the second round and the quarterfinals, March 10-12, and CBS Sports Network will air the semifinal games on March 13. The championship will be played in the nation's capital for the second time in league history.

Last fall, the Atlantic 10 extended its long-standing agreements with all three media partners for an additional three years. This will mark the ninth year of the continuing agreements with ESPN, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 33.3 million television households, approximately 30 percent of the total national media market. There are nine A-10 institutions in or adjacent to the top 25 media markets in the country.
