Chuck Barney’s TV and streaming picks for Jan. 26-Feb. 1

DON’T MISS: “The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards” — Alicia Keys returns to host music’s biggest bash from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Leading the list of trophy-seeking nominees are Lizzo, with eight nominations, and Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X with six apiece. But, as always, it’s the performances that we crave, and this year’s star-spangled roster includes Aerosmith, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, Charlie Wilson, Demi Lovato, the East Bay’s own H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Rosalía, Lizzo, Eilish and more. (5 p.m. PT; 8 p.m. ET, CBS).

Other bets:

SUNDAY: Season 3 of the series “Our Cartoon President” takes a giddy dive into a momentous election year to explore who could be the next Oval Office punching bag. It includes more political heavyweights, media personalities, notable billionaires and perhaps one or two nefarious dictators. (8:30 p.m., Showtime).

MONDAY: Break out the flux capacitor. It’s “Back to the Future” on the season finale of “Food Network Challenge” as the final four bakers celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic film trilogy. (10 p.m., Food Network).

TUESDAY: After eight seasons and four superhero spin-offs, Stephen Amell bids farewell in the series finale of “Arrow.” Emily Bett Rickards returns as Felicity in the episode, which is preceded by a retrospective special. (9 p.m., The CW).

TUESDAY: Did you miss “The Biggest Loser”? The controversial reality series, which ran for 17 years on NBC, is back on a new network and with a new focus on total health. Former trainer Bob Harper now serves as our host. (9 p.m., USA).

TUESDAY: “Miracle Workers: Dark Ages” is the Season 2 title for the hysterical anthology series. Most of the Season 1 cast members, including Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, return in a story about medieval villagers trying to stay positive at a time of extreme income inequality, poor healthcare, and widespread ignorance. (10:30 p.m., TBS).

WEDNESDAY: “Harry & Meghan: The Royals in Crisis” is a new special that explores the couple’s unprecedented exit as senior leaders in Great Britain’s royal family — a decision that caused a seismic shift in the monarchy. The special also focuses on the quiet moves of Harry and Meghan to enter the world of entertainment. (8 p.m., Fox).

WEDNESDAY: Co-hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung, “Next in Fashion” is a new competition series featuring 18 of the world’s best and quietly innovative designers who compete for a chance to become the next big name in fashion. They’ll face challenges focusing on influential trends and design styles. (Netflix).

THURSDAY: One of television’s most acclaimed comedies — “The Good Place” — calls it a wrap. Producers and cast have been ultra tight-lipped about the series finale, but Ted Danson tells TV Guide that “It really felt to me like everyone’s character had the perfect emotional goodbye.” (8:30 p.m., NBC).

FRIDAY: It’s a game of cat and mouse” in the midseason finale of “Magnum P.I.” When Jin (Bobby Lee) learns that an innocent woman is the target of a deadly hit, he asks Magnum and Higgins to help save her. (9 p.m., CBS).

SATURDAY: On the night before the 49ers and Chiefs throw down in the Super Bowl, some of pro football’s top players get their props during “NFL Honors.” It’s an awards show that celebrates the 2019 season’s standout players, performances and plays. (8 p.m., Fox).
