Trump complains impeachment defense team getting bad TV slot - Washington Examiner

President Trump is angry that his lawyers will be starting their defense in the Senate on Saturday when no one would be watching television.

"After having been treated unbelievably unfairly in the House, and then having to endure hour after hour of lies, fraud & deception by Shifty Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer & their crew," the president said Friday on Twitter. "Looks like my lawyers will be forced to start on Saturday, which is called Death Valley in T.V."

In another tweet, Trump quoted Joe Biden saying the president would "be stronger and harder to beat" if he survives impeachment. "Even Joe agrees with us!" Trump boasted.

“I often get asked the question, well, isn’t the President going to be stronger and harder to beat if he survives this? The answer is yes, but, the Congress has no choice, it has a Constitutional responsibility.” Joe Biden, pres. candidate. Even Joe agrees with us! @foxandfriends

House impeachment managers started their three-day argument for impeachment on Wednesday and wrap up on Friday. Trump's lawyers will then get three days to make their own arguments in defense of the president.
